Hello everyone and welcome to the revised first blog post of Gray’s Otome and Visual Novel Corner. My name is Kyori, but you can call me Gray as well if you prefer, I don’t mind. I am a female gamer/player/reader/blogger/writer who loves several different fandoms and wanted a space somewhere in the blogosphere to share my love and mutual appreciation for certain niches and media. This blog is a representation of all the areas of what I have a passion for, whether it’s books, horror, games, creepypastas, and podcasting–this is the little corner that I tend to stay in and hopefully meet others who want to join in the conversation with me.
This blog may have me at the helm but I share this space with my family, who are part of Ten’no Enterprises, we’re composed of two artists, a game developer, and writer/blogger (me). I want to say that never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I’d be starting a blog about games, reviewing games, books, and other sources of media. I would have laughed if someone had told me that one day I would be making a blog and reviewing games. Now, I’m glad that I did make that jump, and while there have been moments I stopped posting as I suffered from ‘imposter syndrome’ consistently (even now).
I’ve learned to keep pushing forward and meeting new people on the blogosphere and making conversation. I’m a terrible person at trying to make the first move at trying to speak with someone, as I don’t really know if what I say would even come across as something polite or mean to them (past experiences). However, I’m learning to continue to grow into who I wish to be and push forward with meeting new people.
I hope my blog can also help inspire others to blog as well or pursue new games, books, or media they’ve never heard or played before. Here’s to friendships, new knowledge, and a brand new take on the blogging journey. Cheers~!
As always, thanks for stopping by, and see you on the gaming side~!
