I Won an Award?!

A special thank you to Indiecator for nominating me for the award, and I’m not sure how to go about this because this is my first time getting an award LMAO. I’m glad and humbled by the nomination even if it’s a small award, so thank you Indie, and if you haven’t already checked out his blog Otomelandians and VNtopians, check it out today or this week!

“According to the creator, Okoto, “Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.”

While I haven’t posted a lot of inspirational posts on my blog, I do hope I have created some ingenious posts and comedic titles. I also hope that my blogs are funny, and are relatable to others out there who play visual novels or survival games. My passion is to talk about these games, and also give first-hand experienced terrible gaming advice.

I do love writing and blogging, it’s a fun and cathartic adventure for me and I find a lot of enjoyment from doing it. Here’s the hard part, I’m not sure what three things to tell people about myself… I’ll give it a try, so bear with me.

I am a Crime Junkie, I really dislike that I had to use Urban Dictionary to find that definition… However, it summarizes a bit about how I tend to love thrillers, suspense, and horror stories. I did a write up about my affair for Yanderes in a post about my ‘Dirty Laundry.’

I can ultimately sit in and lay on my bed all day and listen and research these cases, seeking to understand the case and the evidence provided. However the case, I binge on true crime podcasts, blogs, and also TV Shows when I’m not working on my blog or podcasts.

I am a Christian, formerly Secular Alchemist, for a long time I wasn’t overtly religious. Then, one day, in my period of darkness and reflection, I heard God call to me. I believe that we can transform by giving ourselves over to our faith, and to look deep within for our truth.

I’ve come a long way from where I used to be in the past, and I’m still learning new information daily. I practice divination, astrology, meditation (five minute circuits), homesteading, and herbal studies.

Ryoichi Hirose from Seduced in the Sleepless City

I am a writer, and I go by several different pseudonyms, but Gray is closest to my real name. I write poor tasting fanfiction to semi-decent poetry, and I’m currently working on my biggest hurdle of writing a novel. I’m no Ryoichi Hirose of Seduced from the Sleepless City with well acclaimed romance novels under my belt, but I hope one day I will be.

༶•┈┈⛧┈♛ MY BEST POST? ♛┈⛧┈┈•༶

Victor from Queen’s Choice: Love & Producer

My best post of all time is “My Inner Child Otome-Style,” this was one of my early entries of this year when I got back into blogging, and I still believe it’s one of my best posts. It talks about the psychology and deep shadow work on healing the inner child in all of us, but also the issues I found within myself. It gets into the insecurities and shadowy aspects I related to through otome characters, it is one of my vulnerable posts out there, and I plan on writing more just like it in the future.

Inner child work is the process of contacting, understanding, embracing and healing your inner child. Your inner child represents your first original self that entered into this world; it contains your capacity to experience wonder, joy, innocence, sensitivity, and playfulness. (Loner Wolf)

You have to ban one game for eternity. This game shall never be played or watched again and nobody is allowed to talk about it. Which game do you pick?

Good lord… I think I made a post about games and books I’ll never read again after how badly they marred my psyche LMAO. However, since I gotta choose one, would be Outlast II, the psychotic Eddie in there still frightens the hell outta me. I can still hear his demented ramblings and the screams of his victims in my head from the whistleblower segment. This game has been forever banned.

Yuta Kajima from My Forged Wedding

How was your day? What have you been up to? Hope you’re well.

My day is pretty productive so far, with new blog ideas and podcast material to record, it’s been pretty good! I’m doing fairly well, and I’ve managed to get a boxing workout in today, so that is a plus lol. Thank you for asking ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)!

Hiro Sarashina from Love Letter from Thief X

If you could take any vehicle/plane/etc. from any game/show/book/whatever to use in our world, what would you pick and where would you go?

I would take the Omnithopter from Code Realize, I’m actually not a huge fan of flying especially with large crowds. However, this machine is made to sit only two people, and it is versatile and looks like a Dragonfly in the sky. It is one of the most unique inventions I’ve seen in games besides a few others, but I would use this contraption to fly around the world.

Rihito Hatsune from Dreamy Days in West Tokyo

This one’s weird! It’s not a question… it’s an answer! “No, but the raisings certainly belong to this office.” – Find the question that this answer answers!

I’m sorry, I have failed to find the question to the answer. I tried searching and apparently I’m very bad at this LMAO.

Hibiki Shiina from Seduced in the Sleepless City

What’s your favourite Indie title that you personally love that nobody seems to know?

While I have a big list now with indie games that I adore, my ultimate favorite is still Backstage Pass from Sakevisual. It’s been out there for quite some time, and while a few of the older otome and visual novel players might know this game. Others may not, and I feel that this game should be talked about as it’s different compared to standard otome games out there.
